Networking With A Difference returned in May with another memorable event, this time at the ever-popular Chilston Park Hotel. Welcoming around 30 local business professionals, the afternoon brought together networking, great hospitality and a selection of unique experiences that perfectly reflected what makes Networking With A Difference so special.
A Warm Welcome
Guests were welcomed by Tara Capon from Chilston Park Hotel, who introduced the venue and shared what makes the beautiful country house hotel such a favourite among visitors and businesses alike. With its stunning surroundings, exceptional service and delicious food, Chilston Park once again proved to be the perfect setting for an afternoon of building new business relationships.
Nick McGowan from What's On in Kent also welcomed attendees, encouraging everyone to make the most of the relaxed atmosphere and reminding guests that Networking With A Difference is all about building genuine relationships rather than simply exchanging business cards.
Refreshments & Activities
Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed an excellent selection of canapés while sampling a range of outstanding wines kindly provided by our event sponsor, Balfour Winery. Their wines proved to be a real talking point, giving attendees another opportunity to connect over shared experiences while discovering one of Kent's most celebrated vineyards.
Adding something a little different to the event, Home & Away Gaming brought along a selection of retro gaming consoles, giving guests the chance to relive classic favourites and spark conversations through a little friendly nostalgia. The interactive experience was a fantastic icebreaker and demonstrated how fun activities can help create stronger networking opportunities.
Taking The Talks Outside
Attendees also had the opportunity to join a foraging taster walk led by Tilia Yoga & Nature. The session offered a fascinating introduction to the natural ingredients growing around the Chilston Park grounds, encouraging guests to slow down, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and discover more about the local landscape.
The combination of quality hospitality, engaging activities and relaxed networking created an atmosphere where conversations flowed naturally, new partnerships began and familiar faces reconnected.
